This is a David Hockney Collage I did of my dog
I believe this picture works very well for this type of collage, because since my dog is a golden retriever when you break up the image its easier to make out the image. This image is not very balanced because the main focus is on the right side of the picture, and then the left side is really just the background. Because of not much going on in the picture there is a lot of emphasis on my dogs face.

Floating Monkey Head
Provide Ruins VIII
Meet The Press
The "Floating Monkey Head" has a lot of emphasis because the the whole picture is blank and then there is just a monkey head, not in the center but just randomly placed, I find this makes the picture unique. I believe the "Provide Ruins VIII" has unity because all of the images flowing together with the blue, I like this image because it is a collage that still flows together with a common design. Although the "Meet the Press" photo is all generally in the same color, I find my self always looking at the bullet hole on the mans head. I believe I do this because it generally light around that area and then there is just a dark bullet hole in the center of his head.

This is a photo taken by Annie Liebovitz. It is a picture of Jamie Foxx. This picture appeared in her book A Photographers Life. I like this picture because I really like Jamie Foxx as an actor and because the picture is so unique, from his clothes to his position. I even find the background different because you would expect a photographer to be taking a picture of Jamie just against the nice white screen, instead of moving out from that and showing the whole set. I believe the picture is trying to show the environment that most pictures are taken in and that it is all a setup. I also find the filter interesting because it make the picture seem darker and focus more on Jamie Foxx.

I like Media arts because it is a fun course and I enjoy working with computers, as well as using photoshop! Here is a link to Mr. Brouwers website.
I really like street art because it is usually very big, and very creative. Its also very cool when the artist is able to make it look like there painting is 3D from certain angles.
